Hiro's time!

This is the shot that we've captured on Hiro this week. There's not much happening this week. We did took him for walks but the cloudy weather is not giving us any good shots. Will definitely try again next week. After his bath last weekend, he is now so clean and white. We love to cuddle him at this time...LOL!

This coming Monday is a very exciting day for me! It's going to be an event that you all won't want to miss! Make sure you all check back and help me to celebrate it!!

Using Glass Effect Gel

Have you tried using the glass effect gel pen by Viva Decor? These gel pens are amazing in creating a dimensional stained glass look on your project. Check out the heart that I've created using these gel pens.

I've used a Clear Scraps acrylic heart as the base and adhered a velvet heart on top of it. Then, I've used two different colours of the glass effect gel pens to decorate it for the stained glass look. It creates such a cool effect on the clear acrylic! Try it!

Love

This is a DT layout for Stamp Enjoy. All the stamps used on this layout are from them. I've also used a beautiful rose vine by Kay's Keative Korner Etsy. The owner, Kay, has sent me some of her handmade items to play with. Her stuffs are just divine! Check her out!

Here are some of the close-ups of this layout.
I've added some colours to the flowers using Distress Stickles.

Check out how I've stamped on part of the photograph. I've applied some staz on ink on my stamp and stamp on it. When I lift it up, it will create a partially peeled away effect on the photograph and still leaves some of the stamped image on it. Isn't this a cool distressing effect? I might do a separate technique post on this.

I hope you all like this layout. Experiment with your stamps and you'll be amazed on what you could achieved using them!

Our Dear Husky time!

It's Hiro's time again! This week, we did not manage to take him outdoor as it's been pouring almost everyday. This picture is taken while he is having his meal. Recently, we've occasionally reward him with a home cook meal. It's nothing fancy, just steam cook some chicken meat. He really loves it! Do you prepare any special home cook meal for your pup or dog? Share it with us here!

Check back tomorrow for another new project from me!

You Will Always Be Our Pup

This is my first DT layout using Swirlydoos July Kit, "Summer Serenity". This kit is jam packed with Basic Grey's amazing "Capella" line and ton of goodies from Dusty Attic, Prima Marketing, Anna Griffin, ZVA, Kaisercraft, American Crafts etc.

In this layout, I've used Clear Scraps XL Dazed acrylic shape as the base. This helps to create an interesting base shape for this layout.

Below are some of the details on this layout.

To highlight the edges of the acrylic base, I've stamped around it using the paisley stamp which is included in the kit, with some white solvent ink. I've also highlight the edges with some Copic markers.

Hope you all like this layout and I'll be sharing more projects using this kit soon.
